Google Introducing Price Extensions For AdWords Text Ads!

Google is rolling out price extension for advertisers selling their products and services on AdWords. Google said in a blog post, “we’re introducing price extensions: additional information that can show with your mobile text ads, showcasing your services and range of products, and how much they cost.”

Price extensions show below the text ad as multiple rows. This will help drive qualified clicks as people will be able to compare the prices before they click on any ad.

Google further stated, “Price extensions can also co-trigger and be used effectively in combination with other ad formats, except sitelinks. For example, if you’re already using call extensions to help drive customers to your hair salon, you might create a price extension for your most popular services, like “Women's haircut,” “Men’s haircut,” and “Kid’s haircut.” Highlighting the price of each service might convince people to call and make an appointment, without needing to visit your website.”

How To Get Started?

Price extensions can be managed from the Ad extensions and can be added at account, campaign or ad group level. Advertisers can provide general information at account or campaign level, and detailed information at ad group level.

For time bound offers, advertisers can create multiple price extensions with start and end dates.

“However you plan to use price extensions, make sure the information is relevant to your keywords and consistent with the types of products or services you’re advertising. Keep in mind you must include a minimum of three entries for each extension, up to a maximum of eight. We recommend adding as many as are relevant to your business.”

AdWords will be rolling out Price extensions over the coming days.

Why Responsive Web Design is Needed?

The most challenging task before any website is to attract more and more visitors as the number of visitors is what determines the success of a particular website. The visitors are crucial so are the devices that they use. Quite a few years back, the computer was the only medium, people used for surfing the net. But, the situation today has changed drastically. According to a survey conducted recently, 1 in every 5 persons has a smartphone and nearly 90 per cent people use their phone throughout the day. And almost 45 percent of Internet use is through the mobile devices, such as smartphones, IPads, and tablets. It is quite clear from the above statistics that Smartphone has replaced a computer. And since computer has lost its monopoly, and the website that is developed for computer is not equally fairly visible on the Smartphone, there is an obvious need of making a website that could be compatible to all the modern devices. A responsive website is not only fairly visible in...

Best Method to How To Find What Google Wants

I once tried to explain to my Grandma what I do at SEO Melbourne . Now, she knows what Google is but she wouldn’t have any idea about what Google wants, as she doesn’t have access to the Internet. Then I went to a friend of mine and told her what I did. She’s an Internet savant, always up to date with the latest social media trends and stories. She was also a little bit confused. But I think my favourite reaction to hearing about SEO came from my Aunt. When I told her that SEO is a branch of digital marketing where we help clients get their website onto the first page of Google, she thought for a moment before saying: ‘but why wouldn’t you just call your website something like www.aardvark.com?’ I’m not sure how long she had thought that Google was alphabetised, but I’m glad that I finally got to set her straight that day. I think that this really goes to show that no matter how much we use the Internet, there’s always going to be something about it that we don’t quite understan...
